“Knowledge Exchange” event fosters open conversation and collaboration in mapping the future of virtual care

Our very first Knowledge Exchange event was a huge success! Earlier this week VHH team members, Ministry of Health representatives, local Indigenous leaders, industry partners, patients, healthcare providers, and administrators gathered at Dakota Dunes Resort to present findings and analyses, identify challenges facing virtual care delivery, share perspectives, and collaboratively generate ideas for future directions and contributions to the development of a strategic framework for virtual care in Saskatchewan.

This event represented the fourth phase of a multi-phase research project, led by Dr. Ivar Mendez, Dr. Stacey Lovo, Dr. Scott Adams, Dr. Caroline Tait, Dr. Vern Behl and Dr. Paul Babyn, and supported by the Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF).

The future of virtual care depends on partnership and open conversation. Together, we can create a roadmap towards real progress!
