Position: IT Administrator
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Location: Saskatoon, SK and Whitecap, SK (in-office)
The Opportunity
At Virtual Health Hub (VHH), technology is more than infrastructure – it is an essential part of how we make healthcare services available to communities in rural, remote, and northern Saskatchewan.
As a growing organization with an ambitious vision, we offer an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping shape the technology environment that supports our work. Reporting to the Director, Information Technology & Digital Innovation, the IT Administrator will take a broad, hands-on role in supporting our technology ecosystem, spanning end-user support, cloud services, networks, systems, applications, AI tools, automation, and data security.
This is a role for a versatile IT professional who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is comfortable moving between troubleshooting a technical issue, improving a workflow, supporting a new technology implementation, and finding practical solutions to emerging needs. As the primary point of contact for day-to-day IT operations, you will have the opportunity to take ownership, work across teams, collaborate with external partners, and contribute to building reliable, secure, and scalable technology practices as VHH continues to grow.
If you enjoy wearing many hats, bringing together a broad range of technical skills, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this is an opportunity to put your expertise to work for a purpose-driven organization where technology helps make healthcare more accessible.
What You’ll Do
You will support our mission across the entire operation (endpoints, cloud, networks, systems, applications, AI tools, and data). This role carries a meaningful responsibility: the people, tools, and systems you support directly enable the delivery of care to equity seeking communities in the north.
As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for the day-to-day IT operations. You will handle complex helpdesk escalations, support Microsoft 365 environments, contribute to IT projects, support systems, advance workflows and develop automations, and ensure staff can work securely and effectively — no matter where they are.
