About the Virtual Health Hub
The Virtual Health Hub is an innovative and rapidly growing organization dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery through community engagement and advanced virtual care technologies. By collaborating with partners across the public and private sectors, we improve access to quality healthcare for remote, Indigenous, and underserved communities in Saskatchewan. Our work spans clinical operations, research, and technology development, and is supported by a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. As a young organization experiencing rapid growth, we are building the systems, culture, and team that will support our long-term impact.
The Opportunity: Director of Communications and Donor Engagement
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Communications and Donor Engagement is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping how donors experience, understand, and invest in Virtual Health Hub (VHH).
This is a pivotal time to join VHH as healthcare systems increasingly embrace digital innovation and equitable access to care. VHH is uniquely positioned for growth and impact, creating an opportunity for a communications and donor engagement leader to help shape its public profile, build and strengthen community and donor relationships, and advance a transformative vision for virtual healthcare.
This is a highly collaborative role that will lead VHH’s external communications and revenue development efforts at a time when strategic visibility, community partnerships, and philanthropic support are critical to long-term success. The role will oversee media relations, brand reputation, and public messaging, while developing and executing fundraising strategies aligned with organizational priorities—most notably a significant capital campaign to support furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for a new facility opening in Spring 2027.
This position will be required to work at our Saskatoon office with a planned office relocation to Whitecap, SK in Spring 2027.

- Sound judgment, political acuity, and the ability to navigate complex or sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
You are a collaborative and trusted leader who creates clarity, builds relationships, and inspires confidence in complex and evolving environments. You communicate openly, establish strong working relationships, and bring a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to your work. You understand the importance of balancing strategic leadership with operational execution and are comfortable contributing both as a leader and as an active member of a small, high-performing team.
You recognize that this role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement.
