Transforming the Future of Healthcare Delivery

Welcome to Virtual Health Hub (VHH), a highly-innovative, Indigenous-led healthcare delivery project designed to increase the availability of services to Saskatchewan’s northern and rural communities – and beyond.

Combining cutting-edge virtual care technologies, AI, and robotic systems with local healthcare teams, patients are assessed and receive care in real time in their own communities entirely virtually. The project helps care for patients in a timely and cost-efficient manner, as well as concurrently increase the number of Indigenous and non-Indigenous healthcare professionals and technologists trained to work in virtual healthcare.

Virtual Health Hub utilizes remote presence robotics to connect patients and healthcare workers to enhance care.

Virtual Health Hub is set to create:

• Greater access to healthcare for Indigenous, remote and rural communities in Saskatchewan

• An increased number of healthcare practitioners trained in the delivery of virtual care remote health services

• More Indigenous healthcare providers

• Significant cost savings to the health system by treating patients in their own communities

• A global leadership position for Saskatchewan’s virtual healthcare delivery system

Virtual Health Hub

OPENING FALL 2026

Our unique and groundbreaking Virtual Health Hub facility will operate as a centralized command center to support the delivery of healthcare services for Saskatchewan communities entirely remotely. State-of-the-art virtual care technologies, AI, and robotic systems will allow doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers to assess patients from across the province in real-time. In addition to on-demand services, we will provide a comprehensive range of virtual care services, including mental health care, remote patient monitoring, remote imaging diagnostic services, physiotherapy, and speech therapy.

The facility will be located at Whitecap, Saskatchewan, approximately 35 kilometers south of Saskatoon. We will begin operations in the fall of 2026.
